Toccoa Swinging Bridge is a 0. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips and is accessible year-round. If using the google directions be aware that they will take down Mountain Valley Drive, which is a private driveway. Instead of turning down Doublehead Gap coming from Blue Ridge, saty on the 60 and there will be a sign for the trail on your right or on your left if you are coming from Suches.
On a summer weekend my friends Jim and Ken and I set off to find Sea Creek Falls , a waterfall supposedly located 20 miles from Pinebox, my North Georgia mountain cabin. Before we could even make it to our planned destination, we got sidetracked by another potential adventure. In fact, we passed the turn-off to the bridge this time, but we decided to turn around and check it out since we were already in the vicinity. The friendly driver told us it was a 3-mile drive through the forest to the bridge.
